Place of social movies in the media

This article is devoted to searching and identifying characteristic features and functions of the "social movie" in the system cinematography. We can see short traces of cinematography evolution in the European and national traditions.
Specific feature lies in the actual display of events and life problems, social movie has a special psychological focus and thus renews and preserves human values. Social movie, as we believe, occupies honorable place in the media and has priority in the hierarchy system of human values, because it boosts the preservation of "humanity in humen", especially in our time. We believe that social cinematography is actual and promising nowadays due to its positive influence on the process of personality socialization. It's been defined the difference between commercial and social movies, this difference is focused on the educational function of social movie.
