Innovative potential in system of development of machine-building enterprises

In article specifics of formation of innovative capacity of machine-building enterprises ofUkraineare defined. The analysis of views of foreign and domestic scientists concerning essence of innovative potential is made. Distinctions in understanding of innovative potential at domestic and foreign scientists are revealed.
Different approaches to studying of innovative potential testify to complexity of the specified problem and ambiguity of ways of its decision.
Innovative potential should be considered as a measure of ability of machine-building enterprises to transform the resources (intellectual, research, information, etc.) in innovative development, in productive accumulation of the qualities with high social and economic effect.
The maintenance of innovative potential provides allocation of its components: the intellectual component defines possibilities of generation and perception of ideas and plans of innovations and their finishing to level of new technologies, designs, organizational and administrative decisions, research - characterizes existence of results of research works, sufficient for generation of new knowledge; information component characterizes information security of the managing subject of information, necessary for innovative activity; scientific component - ability of the personnel to apply new technologies, to realize new organizational and administrative decisions, to make new goods.
Thus, generalization and systematization of methodological approaches to treatment of the maintenance of potential of the innovative development, offered by authors, its structure allow to define the main conditions which have to be provided with them for assistance to innovative development of machine-building enterprises.
