Pavlutskiy is considered. It was established, what lecture courses he read at the leading higher educational institutions of the country in different years, namely courses in Ukrainian, Western European, antique art, Byzantium and Renaissance. The author shows the role of G. Pavlutskiy in the creation of higher educational institutions in Ukraine - the Kyiv Ukrainian People's University, Kamyanets-Podilsky State University, the Kyiv Archaeological Institute, the Ukrainian State Academy of Arts. The author paid a lot of attention to the activities of G. Pavlutskiy concerning the creation and reformation of the Kyiv Ukrainian National University, which was subsequently transformed into the Kyiv State University of Ukraine.</p><p>In the article the G. Pavlutskiy's teaching activity is analyzed in private educational arts institutions, in particular, in the M. Drawing School at Kiev Drawing School. For many years, the researcher has lectured in her history of art. His fruitful work on the formation of a new generation of Ukrainian scholars is shown. Lectures of the progressive professor were heard by future well-known specialists - brothers V. and D. Scherbakivsky, D. Antonovych, P. Popov, F. Ernst, S. Gilyarov and others.</p>It was proved by the author that G. Pavlutskiy, thanks to his teaching talent and organizational skills, had a significant influence on the development of domestic higher education. ER -
